Layout Expansion 2010-2011
In 2008, a plan was developed by club leaders to build a new table in a wide aisleway between the existing layout. This expansion orignally was only going to include a major engine terminal, but was later expanded to include a major shipping port on the upper level. After Hurricane Ike in September 2008, work was delayed while other necessary repairs occurred.
Construction finally began in the spring of 2010. Leaders hired the services of Matt from Arkansas-based MD Custom Models to design and build both the engine terminal and port.
